Supplementation

Supplements are a great addition to a diet rich in whole foods as well as a properly designed training program but as the name states, they are just that – supplements.  Too many people tend to get wrapped up in the latest and greatest products on the market.  What ends up happening?  They lose money because they got caught up in fancy and misleading marketing.

Once you spend money on a supplement that doesn’t work, you won’t get that money back.  Take it from me, one of many people over the years who has tried just about everything there is, it’s not worth falling prey to what looks cool and what the pros say they’re using.

The supplements I recommend are based on my personal use and my clients’ use.  As we move forward with your transformation, I’ll explain some supplements that are extremely effective in aiding muscle recovery, fat loss, strength gain, etc.  We’ll also talk about how you can incorporate them into your regimen for optimal results.

When you think of a supplement company you should be asking yourself what they stand for.  Are they all about trying to be the #1 supplement company on the market, thus cutting corners and trying to make as much money as possible using any athlete they can to better themselves?  Or, are they trying to put all their money into using quality products and less on advertising and a fancy label?  I think I can speak for many people when I say I want honesty and not be misled when I’m looking to spend my hard earned money.  Most of the products I have my clients use you don’t see flooding magazines and supplement stores but instead they look basic and have a reputation of being legitimate products that provide 100% results.

With today’s technology, I am always trying to deepen my knowledge of sports nutrition, so tomorrow I might find something else to try – supplements are a subject you can literally spend all day everyday reading about and just begin to scratch the surface.
